World Premier of Twilight at Western Kentucky University

Sylvia Dodd’s single, “Twilight", which is scheduled to release on May 26, 2025, had it’s world premier on April 27, 2025 at Western Kentucky University’s “New Music” recital. The “New Music“ recital began at 7:30pm CST in the Music Department’s Recital Hall. The world premier of “Twilight“ occurred alongside 6 other world premiers, composed by colleagues of Sylvia Dodd: Parker Evans with “Greed“ (2024) and “Lust“ (2024), Matthew Herman with “I have Tasted Freedom“ (2024), Dalton Childress with “Rhapsodia Personae, mvt. IIIX” (2025), and Alison Schimmell with “Moments Are Fleeting“ (2024) and “Élan“ (2024).
